Rule of law and contract certainty

They are many intangibles that are necessary for a country to prosper such as peace, human capital etc. The rule of law and contract certainty are pivotal.

Business investment thrives when investors are certain that their capital sum is protected and contracts are honored and there is a predictable rules and regulations.

It’s not an accident the United States became a power house in economic growth and innovation. Its unwavering commitment to the rule of law and contract certainty has played a major part in that success.

Without the absence of war, rule of law and contract certainty, we won’t have likes of Warren Buffett. He attributes his success to these principles. We had these qualities for such a long time, some people really had forgotten what is like to live in a country without such qualities.

We should make all lawmakers to visit a country and live there for a year where war, absence of rule of law is rampant so they can appreciate the blessings this great nation has.

Don’t long for a totalitarian regime and stop worshipping personalities and jealously protect the constitutional order. Don’t take it for granted. It’s is not perfect, but it has served us well for centuries and produced one of the greatest nation on earth today. Stand up for justice and equality and I assure the favor of God shall continue.
