Economic embargo on Venezuela

economic embargo rarely works to bring about regime change. It actually has the opposite effect. It devastates the majority of the population into further poverty and misery. The political class and it’s small minority supporters rarely suffer from the embargo itself.

The embargo has devastated the economy of Venezuela and created a mass exodus of people from the country. The Venezuelans are migrating in large numbers to the United States. The strange thing is that the politicians who supported the embargo now are surprised and dismayed.

The United States have been ratcheting up the sanctions since 2005 and yet we see no evidence the sanctions are working. Instead it has devastated the innocent people of Venezuela by crushing their economy. Millions of people migrated out of the country.

can someone please explain how this action by United States makes us more secure? I argue it is inhumane and utterly stupid. We need to leave countries alone.

Let the people change their own situation if they don’t like it. We should be a beacon of hope and lend a hand in charity for the poor instead of being a reason for countries to go belly up and create this mess.

let’s not the providence hand of God which blessed this great nation be lifted. We need stop being so clever and continue to be entangled in other countries affairs. It isn’t in our best interests.
